The criteria for us to live forever? For everlasting life? The Bible; and that ends this part of this discussion. That is the only source of Truth that we have been given and it is Jesus who told us this; John 17:17 Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word is truth. NOTE: there has NEVER been a failure in all 1804 Bible prophecies. ALL prophecies have been fulfilled perfectly at their appointed time for fulfillment; there are very few that we are still waiting on for fulfillment. The next prophecy that is due is the beginning of the Great Tribulation which ends this Satanic system of things. Almighty God is absolutely perfect, which is why He has been able to exist literally forever; He has no end and no beginning. Think about that… deeply. No end and no beginning. Every man had a beginning but we do not have to have an end. Yes, many have lived and died, but we have this wonderful promise in the Bible; the earthly resurrection of “both the righteous and the unrighteous” is essential to God’s purpose (Ac 24:15). Adam, our first father from whom we are all descended was created perfect with everlasting life in hand, but, he lied and lost that precious gift. For that, he has no resurrection to live again. Resurrection literally means a rising up from death. The Greek word a·naʹsta·sis literally means “raising up; standing up.” Nine resurrections are mentioned in the Bible, including the resurrection of Jesus by Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18). Although other resurrections were performed through Elijah, Elisha, Jesus, Peter, and Paul, these miracles are clearly attributed to God’s power. The earthly resurrection of “both the righteous and the unrighteous” is essential to God’s purpose. (Ac 24:15) The Bible also mentions a heavenly resurrection, termed “the earlier” or “the first” resurrection, involving the 144,000 spirit-anointed brothers of Jesus.—Php 3:11; Re 20:5, 6; Joh 5:28, 29; 11:25. I have a very deep understanding of His Word. How did I acquire that understanding? By teaching the Bible to others. If you truly want to learn a subject deeply, first study that subject and then teach it to others, answering all questions that your ‘students’ WILL put to you. This is why Jesus gave us this command; Matt 28:19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. – Obey Jesus and you WILL begin to understand the Bible.
