Draining our treasury to fight a hopeless war with Ukrainian Proxies is not tough on Russia. Who expects a country of 38 million to come out on top against the 145 million Russians. In case you haven’t noticed, no matter how many trillion$$$ we give Zelensky it’s never enough and he’s at the door next week with his hand out again. Getting along with other superpowers and not goading them to the edge of nuclear war is preferable and negotiating peace is even better.
