This reminds me of the Air Traffic Controllers strike. They thought they were invulnerable too. Regan decertified the union and they were out of work. The ILA should not dig a hole they can’t get out of. Or they might find themselves working for McDonald’s at a MUCH lower wage. And by going on strike, they may be replaced by the automation they want to be protected from. I am appalled at the stupidity of the ILA President statements.
