I bought a brand new Toyota Corolla in 1998 as my first car. I still have it and it runs great.547,000 miles and she keeps on going. Nothing but minor repairs in all these years. I did get a new paint job done last year and put new lights and rims. The car looks brand new inside and out. I keep it out of sentimental value. I drive my Corolla for for commuting to work at home. For the past dozen years or so , I lease new cars for recreation. Right now , I’ve recently leased a 2024 fully loaded Nissan Maxima SR. This car is a beast. I love driving it. But I’ll never get rid of my Corolla. That will always be my drive to work car. I’m sure I’ll have it when it hits a million miles when I’m old!
