What exactly, went bad with the engine? It could be a number of things. Newsflash: They’re not gonna give you a new truck. They’ll repair or replace the engine. I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado with a Duramax diesel. It just topped 164K miles. I replaced the starter. Also, a new torque convertor seal on the transmission.
As much as I don’t like the way that the car manufacturers stick it to the buyers with faulty parts. My 5.3 for example. I’m always waiting for it to shot craps. But try ing to meet with the governments cafe standards. Sure doesn’t help.
That’s what we need in business. A bunch of “experts”designing engines. I doubt if 1/2 could even find a fuel pump.
The entire problem is with the govt CAFE and emission standards. The EPA should be neutered or dissolved, or we’ll all be driving battery powered junk. Made in China, of course.
There wouldn’t be cafe standards if Joe wasn’t cheated into office in 2020!
It’s time America takes America back. If these green global line lying pieces of c*** democrats want greener air. They need to move to another country. This is America, this is our fresh air. We love the smell of rushing fuel and gasoline and diesel.
I agree totally: we need to bring back “smokestack prosperity”–and enjoy our gasoline and diesel engines–without the EPA breathing down our necks! To H#LL with emissions standards! To H#LL with environmentalists! Let us build our own cars, and spew out any smoke anywhere, anytime we want! Bring back the wood-burning Stanley Steamers! Yes! Catalytic converters and pollution control systems-are nothing more than a government-sponsored SCAM!!!
