Not every child will have presents under the tree this year. You can help deliver a gift—and the hope of the Gospel—to children with a parent in prison by giving to Angel Tree. Change a life this Christmas through one simple act of generosity. http://www.angeltree.org/tatum

Yeah who stands in the middle of the street at night in dark clothing.

  1. This type of entitlement epidemic is everywhere. Day, night, whatever these pedestrians are assuming that they own the street, and their very presence is enough to stop a 2000-pound car on a dime. Denver is HORRIBLE. Assholes all over the place, strolling, jogging, biking along in traffic, crossing streets with ear buds and NEVER even once stopping to look both ways. They just step off and flip you off as you hit the brakes, but then Denver IS a Blue shit hole where this is the attitude. Is it entitlement or just plain f’in stupidity…? Its BOTH.

  2. Markie, I agree. This type of stupidity is everywhere. Sometimes, it seems, pedestrians dare you to hit them. Because if you do, then YOU are at fault.

  3. Yeah, this kind of insanity has proliferate throughout New Jersey, too. Pedestrians, heck electric scooters and bicycles, cross right in front of our cars, carelessly, continuously, in places like Somerville and New Brunswick. And why? Because some govt morons decided that pedestrians have the right of way, and cars have to yield to them. Well, great–they have the right to win a lawsuit judgement in court–before they are buried in the local cemetery–because of their own stupidity and carelessness. When I grew up, it was always: “Stop,Look, and Listen”, before you cross the road. Now it’s “I got the right of way, so I don’t have to pay attention”. Yeah, well, instead of exerting a little effort to be careful, instead of careless, a lifetime of pain, disability and/or death can result. Is it worth it? I don’t think so…and to make matters worse, this entitled and totally careless pedestrian was probably also high on weed, or alcohol, or something else (of course no mention of the results of any drug test on her blood–but lots of pedestrians in NJ, now, are careless for exactly that reason: wasted or high). And then there is the lack of values prevalent in many urban areas today that thrive on apathy and laziness, that result in such careless behavior in traffic. Where are the values of the community, that she was raised in? Didn’t she realize that she was gambling with her own life, by being so careless?
