My understanding is that Trumps idea to keep money here is to add tariffs to stuff coming into this country. It will bring back making things here and if you take that $ and apply it to the debt. Also the $ saved by not paying for wars and deporting illegals would give American $ for American programs like Social Security.
You have a company that makes bags of popcorn and sells them.
You need corn, butter, salt, a way to package them and ship them to stores. You have other companies doing the same. The cheaper or better tasting popcorn at a higher price will be bought. Its called free market capitalism. If one of those things changes you have price inflation. Maybe corn crops fail or cost more to make butter. What Trump is saying is that gas or energy is the problem because it cost more for energy and gas to make the popcorn and ship it. And higher energy costs means everything cost more. That’s why he talks with oil companies and is for fracking. That will lower energy costs and gas costs which should bring prices down. Kamala is a dimwit drunk who couldn’t think her way out of a paper bag. The Trillions that went into destroying our energy program (the green new deal) that she and Biden put in place destroyed our economy. And spendings billions on wars made sure that it will take a decade of responsibility to get out of what these two have done.
