When your defendant is asleep during most of his trial, under a gag order, yet every break runs out to speak to the media, fails to comprehend what the gag order means or follow the courts ruling, what course does he have but to plead insanity? Now, they want to claim he had NO knowledge of what he was being accused of? This is a case of stick your fingers in your ears and flap your lips and fa-la-la, I can’t hear you? The gag order alone is unconstitutional, overreaching and vague. Every defendant is afforded due process. The elements of every crime must be first articulated, and then justified and explained by evidence, physical or circumstantial. When an element of a certain crime articulates that the crime itself was perpetrated in furtherance of an underlying crime, that underlying crime MUST be articulated in the charging documents and later to the court in trial. It was not done in either case. In fact, Judge Merchan later, after the defense team gave its closing argument, instructed the jury they could decide the underlying crime that fit to their own belief, and their decision need not be unanimous. That’s incredible and dangerous, unless of course you live in a communist state not bound by the US Constitution. The judge and DA, both handpicked, know this case will be overturned, but simply don’t care. They are accomplishing their goals and agenda by having a conviction for just a few important months. For all who love that DJT was “convicted” by Bragg, the DOJ attorney Matthew Colangelo, and assisted by “judge” Merchan, don’t revel in a win. For if this becomes the norm, our country and constitution will cease to exist. Unlike precedent over the last 230 years, partisan political prosecutions will become commonplace just as they are in China, North Korea and Venzuela.
The ONLY reason this case was tried at all was because the defendant’s name was Trump. Bragg ran his whole campaign, funded by Soros, on finding a crime to hang Trump. He sure did. Three other courts looked at the same evidence and said “Nothing there”. But Bragg? Oh yeah, Bragg could sure find something. Soros made sure the judge and Bragg found whatever it took to twist one misdemeanor into 34 unnamed felonies. Wow, that’s almost unheard of. Wait, yes, it IS unheard of. SCOTUS should have stepped in last year and put a stop to these blatantly unconstitutional persecutions of Trump. Letting these phony charges, trials and convictions play out makes a mockery of the American jurisprudence system.
