Daniel Penny should never have been charged. He did the right thing. Charging him is a disgrace. But then, Fat Alvin is a disgrace.
Absolutely!!! This was an insane and utterly political prosecution. The “victim” was violently threatening a trainload of people. The defendant stepped up and restrained him. I saw nothing Mr. Penny did which exceeded the exigencies of the moment. I’m old enough to remember the Kitty Genovese case, when a whole block of New Yorkers watched and listened as a young woman was raped and murdered outside their doors – and did nothing. The whole world was shocked and appalled that nobody stepped forward to help. Well, now we know why. Indifference to dangerous behavior is what NYC demands on pain of persecution. The 60 years which have passed since that horror has served to normalize (and even put the stamp of official approval on) the crass indifference which we thought was so horrifying back then.
These liberal ignorant rats will pay dearly for this BS!!!
